Hi there,

So my computer is crap and I can't fix it/buy a new one.
I have a Wii and a DS but won't be buying a PS3 , XBOX 360, or anything else like that for a while.
I was wondering if there are any RPG for the Wii or DS that are similar to Guild Wars? I don't mean by playing with other people but like the storylines, professions, etc.

Please don't say "There are no games like Guild Wars," or "The Wii sucks."

Any help is appreciated

There is a very very limited selection of Wii games that would be close and since your in Canada its prolly even less.

Anyway this is a list of RPG games that are currently or coming soon for the Wii.

In all honesty you'll have to get a PS3 or Xbox360 if you want to be able to play some of the better RPG's out there. That or get a better computer. But you've already said you werent so that point is meh.

For the DS pick up Chrono Trigger if you havent already, that and Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is another good pick.

I like the Wii, it's pretty awesome. But I don't know of any games like Guild Wars on the Wii or DS.

The Wii isn't build for that type of game, to be quite honest. Sony has partnered with NCSoft for an online RPG for the PS3, but you said you are not buying a PS3. Your best would be a PS3 for those type of games, though the 360 does have some amazing RPGs too.

If your looking for a good RPG, check out Skies of Arcadia for gamecube, which can be played on the wii IIRC. Its old, but its an amazing game.

If you like jrpg at all, Tales of Symphonia 1 is Gamecube and Tales of Symphonia 2 is wii and both are great imo.

Okami
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals: Echoes of Time
Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World
Skies of Arcadia Legends

I am also trying to decide if I get FFCC: Echoes of Time if it should be for DS for Wii...I think the DS version looks better myself.

they're making a phantasy star game for the ds, that should be pretty cool. but it won't come out for a while...

The World ends with you is a decent RPG for the DS, and it's not turnbased.
